HerdFlo Terms of Service

Updated September 22, 2026

The service

HerdFlo provides a livestock gestation calculator and, with an account, herd record-keeping ("My Herd"). The free plan includes records for up to 2 animals. HerdFlo Pro adds unlimited animals, a herd calendar, growth reports and CSV record exports. Web prices are $5.99/month or $39.99/year, in USD. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel a web subscription from Manage billing; access continues through the period you've paid for. Existing lifetime purchases remain honored without recurring renewal. App-store purchases and subscriptions are managed through the store where you purchased them.

Eligible accounts can start one 14-day Pro trial. A payment method is required to start it; when the trial ends, the plan you selected renews automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. Cancel before the trial ends (web: My Herd → Manage billing; iPhone/Android: your store subscription settings) and nothing is charged. Your saved records remain accessible on Free after the trial. Adding more animals is then subject to the free allowance.

Your data is yours

You own your herd records. You can download a data backup from Account on every plan, including after canceling Pro. Pro also provides CSV exports for spreadsheets. The backup includes record data and photo references; save original photo files separately. Returning to Free keeps existing records available and limits adding animals to the free allowance.

Important disclaimer — not veterinary advice

Gestation lengths, breed adjustments, and management timelines are published averages for planning purposes only. Individual animals vary. HerdFlo is not a veterinary service and provides no medical advice; health, medication, and withdrawal decisions belong with you and your veterinarian. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FarmsFlo is not liable for losses arising from reliance on calculated dates or records.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no unauthorized access attempts, no resale of the service itself, no unlawful content in records or photos. We may suspend accounts that do.

Referral program

The optional referral program is available through Residual Apps under its current program terms. Joining that program is separate from buying HerdFlo Pro; HerdFlo checkout does not include a paid referral-program add-on.
